Solapur women’s cricket team qualified for Super League

Maharashtra Cricket Association’s Senior Women’s Invitational Match; Bhakti Pawar’s all-round performance

Solapur: In the Maharashtra Cricket Association’s Invitational Senior Women’s (One Day) One-Day Tournament, the  Solapur team performed excellently and qualified for the Super League tournament, by winning four out of five matches in the tournament.

The Solapur team has defeated all the strong team’s namely Beed District Team, Judicial Club Pune, Hingoli Team, Dhule District Team respectively.
This success has been achieved due to the excellent batting of captain Sakshi Waghmode, Bhakti Pawar, Mahi Rathod, Kartiki Deshmukh, Pratibha Mashale, Sneha Shinde, and the excellent bowling of Vibhavari Devkate, Bhakti Pawar, Amruta Gavane, and Poonam Mashale.
Bhakti Pawar has done an all-round job in this tournament. She took 14 wickets in 5 matches bowling. Captain Sakshi Waghmode played a valuable role in the team’s victory by scoring a century.
Solapur District Cricket Association Chairperson Ranjitsinh Mohite-Patil, Secretary Dhairyasheel Mohite-Patil, Solapur District Cricket Association Chandrakant Rembersu, Women’s Selection Committee Chairperson Kiran Maniar, Snehal Jadhav, Sarika Kurnurkar, Mansi Jadhav have congratulated her for this excellent performance.
